Hand Carved Penobscot Talking Sticks
with Indian face are only $50.00
without face $30.00

The talking stick has been used for centuries by many
Native American Tribes as a means of just and impartial
hearing. It was used in council circles to designate who
had the right to speak. The person holding the stick has
the right to speak, while others must listen until the stick
is in their hand.
The Eagle feather tied to the stick gives courage and wisdom
to speak truthfully and wisely.
The Penobscot talking stick will sometimes have a chief
on the top. The chip carvings on the stick are given by
the Creator to the person making the stick.
